Q: Are the Field’s and Meadow’s one homeowners association?
A: Yes, both phases pay the same annual dues.

Q: Who do I call about a street light outage?
A:  All streetlights, roads and sidewalks are owned and maintained by the City of Tallahassee.  Call 891-4YOU or report on the City website: talgov.com.

Q: Who owns the alleyways behind some of the homes with rear garages?
A: The alleyways are owned by the HOA and not maintained by the City.

Q: What are the dues and are they mandatory?  What happens if I don’t pay?
A: Yes, dues are mandatory and are currently $150.00 per lot for the calendar year 2009.  If dues are not paid after 90 days, the account will be turned over to an attorney for collection resulting in additional fees and a lien against the property.

Q: Who owns the greenspace between the 2 Goose Creek phases?
A: The space is a 40 acre park, owned by Leon County.  The park is open to the public for pedestrian traffic only and will be left in its natural state in accordance with the Buck Lake Alliance agreement.

Q: Is Goose Creek located in the City or the County?
A: Goose Creek is located within the City limits.

Q: Can we park our boat or trailer in the driveway or on the side of the house?
A: No, boats and trailers can only be located inside an enclosed garage.

Q: Who can I contact to get a new mailbox or replacement parts?

Q. Who do I contact if I want to install a fence?
A. All exterior improvements must have prior approval before installation.  Please submit your plan to the association office.

Q. Why doesn’t the grounds maintenance contractor mow behind the houses that back up to adjacent neighborhood or easements?
A. Most of these areas are considered Landscape Buffers and are required to be left natural by the Buck Lake Alliance.

Q. Who owns the big black & white plantation house in the Meadow’s? 
A. The Jordan’s are the current owners and pay dues to the HOA.
